I’ve never done yoga, can I do Aerial?
Absolutely. While a yoga background can be helpful, in no way is it required. Our Aerial Flow classes are structured to meet students where they are at. We keep these classes semi-private to better assess and address individual needs. The great thing about this practice is its ease of adaptability in personalizing the practice. The hammock always has the opportunity to challenge or assist, and a whole range in between.
I’m a beginner, where do I start?
Slow FlowOm and Healthy Backs & Hips are great places to start. offering the best of movement and ease.
All Flow classes contain Surya Namaskar (or variations thereof). But, each style will differ in pacing, intensity and sequencing.
RagaFlow is not well suited for beginners as it is more intent in moving in a flow state and cultivating technique than foundational alignment and instruction.
Please let your teacher know prior to class of any physical concerns you’d like to share so they can best assist you.
