Roll Model Method and Restorative Yoga Workshop

Thursdays, March 5 – March 26   |   4:15pm-5:45pm

Join us in this 4-week exploration to learn how to address your chronic tension and stiffness with the Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls in a small group setting. We will teach you how to develop a tailored practice to create mobility and ease in your body. You will become better acquainted with your basic anatomy in order to navigate the therapy ball practice and bring awareness to your body blind spots. Each 90-minute session is unique and together offer a complete body mapping.

Yoga Tune Up® is a fitness therapy format built around the three P’s – Pain, Posture and Performance. It helps eradicate pain, improve posture and enhance performance through a unique blend of yoga, Corrective Exercise, Self-Massage, and Breath Strategies. By helping to identify and target your “body blind spots”; areas that are most overused, underused, or misused, YTU heals damaged muscle, increases strength and establishes healthy movement patterns.

The YTU format includes dynamic and static range of motion exercises to target these blind spots to improve proprioception (body sense), interoception (physiological listening) and motor control (performance). This self care fitness format utilizes unique exercises that educate each practitioner about their body biomechanics and their personal relationship to how they use their body on a daily basis. Mindset work surrounds and infuses each YTU lesson so that subtle and gross awareness evolve to help every practitioner live better in their body.
